Project Utthaan - Dreams take flight
Inspired by the social and cultural activities of Padmabhushan Professor N.S.Ramaswamy (National Professor and Founder-Director, Bengaluru) , Director of Cartman,A team of young IT professionals committed to the social cause have planned a campaign (Project Utthaan) to help poor and destitute children and women with education, civil consciousness , advise on health etc.
Every child has the right to education as per Government of India's flagship program - "Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)". This program aims at the Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner, as mandated by 86th amendment to the Constitution of India. Under this program, free and compulsory Education to the Children of 6-14 years age group, a Fundamental Right.
Through this project the team intends to launch a music album comprising of songs sung by these underprivileged children. Mr Agnel Roman(Music Director Ragini MMS) will be training the children.The album will be released under the banner of SaReGaMa. Gajendra and Vasant ( Freelancers to MTV) ,who were also the part of SplitsVilla 1 , Roadies 1 and MTV's Pepsi change my game projects will be making the promotional Video which will shown in all the leading channels to create awareness.
This project's mission is to create equal opportunities for children and women in the society.The roadmap to achieve this is through disciplined and systematic execution of the project.
The team recognizes the challenges and issues and hopes to address the several challenges through this project we will be addressing these issues. The intention is to help the children grow up holistically.
Our Objectives :
1. To provide a need-based learning program and improve the quality& performance levels of students.
2. Inspire the children and build their confidence to think big and aim higher in life.

4. Teach the children to have a positive outlook in life and develop a skill to mould the individual personality.

6. Better the nutritional intake of these children
7. Provide them clean drinking water, so that they are physically healthy and are able to focus on their studies.
8. Provide them an ideal place to stay.
The group also feels that through this effort there will be a ripple effect created which will motivate more people to get involved and help us achieve our goal much quicker.
Developing the Grass roots will help in smarter people with independent thinking which will result in Smarter Communities.
